Got Skills Member Spotlight – July Feature: Marcus

We’re excited to recognize another outstanding young man in this month’s Got Skills Mentor Spotlight – Marcus, a rising sophomore at Windermere High School who’s already building a strong foundation in both academics and leadership.

Marcus currently holds a 3.0 GPA and is active in Track, Weight Lifting, and Fishing. Recently, he was honored with the Principal’s Entrepreneurship Award, giving him the opportunity to learn alongside his peers about becoming a successful entrepreneur.

Marcus continues to sharpen his creative skills and recently earned his certification in Adobe Photoshop, a big step toward his dream of becoming an animator and cartoon movie artist. His passion for art, combined with his natural talent and dedication, makes his future look very bright.

Beyond school, Marcus is a faithful and humble member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Eatonville, FL, where he serves in the Parking Lot Ministry, Performing Arts Ministry, Youth Ministry, and, of course, the Got Skills Boys Mentoring Program. He enjoys learning more about Jesus and is committed to growing in the Word of God.

Marcus, your parents and the entire Got Skills family are so proud of you and all of your achievements and accomplishments. We pray God’s continued blessings upon you in all of your future endeavors.
